Located one hour outside of Vienna, the city of Gablitz is characterized by the Wiener Wald (Vienna Forest) as well its sloping terrain. The hillside plot with its vegetation is kept in its unaltered state. The buildings wedged footprint is the result of setback regulations as well as the minimum distance to the existing well. This results in three main facades – each corresponding to a different scenery of the surrounding landscape. The arrangement of the interior spaces takes place on three main levels, which react to the inclination of the slope.
